After Migration (How do I check my email?)

There are several ways to connect to your College of Wooster email on Office 365 (Exchange online):

USING YOUR PERSONAL COMPUTER

I’m using Scotmail now and would like to just use the Outlook web app after the migration:
Once you have received confirmation from Information Technology that your e-mail, contacts and settings have been copied to the new system, you can use the Outlook Web Access (OWA) site to access your email from any computer.  Web access to your Office 365 account is available from anywhere you have Internet access using Microsoft’s Outlook Web App. Web access is full-featured and provides a nearly identical experience to Microsoft Outlook.
Click here to access the Outlook Web App. Enter your Wooster username and password in the login window.
When you’re finished using the Web App, remember to choose sign out and then close out of the browser.

I’m already using the Mac Mail client or the Outlook Client:
Great! You’re one step ahead.
Once you have received confirmation from Information Technology that your e-mail, contacts and settings have been copied to the new system, follow the step-by-step instructions here to configure Outlook or Mac Mail on your computer.
Or, if you would like assistance changing these settings, contact the Help Desk and a staff member would be happy to help: 330-287-4357 or helpdesk@wooster.edu.

I’m using the Groupwise Desktop Client (Windows or Mac)
Immediately after the migration, once you have received confirmation from Information Technology that your e-mail, contacts and settings have been copied to the new system, you will be able to access your email using the Outlook Web App.
Going forward, you will have a choice of using the Outlook (Windows and Mac) or Mac Mail clients to manage your email when using your computer. Information Technology staff will be happy to assist you in configuring either Outlook or Mac Mail on your computer.

How do I set up Archiving?
Contact the Help Desk and a staff member will be happy to assist you in configuring archiving. If you have an existing archive, we can help you connect your Exchange Online email to archive to the same folder.

USING THE OUTLOOK WEB APP

When checking email on another computer or from home, we recommend using Outlook Web Access (OWA). You can log in from any computer with an internet connection at http://email.wooster.edu

USING MOBILE DEVICES

Office 365 can be used on many mobile devices, including those running Apple iOS, Android, Windows and others.  Follow the step-by-step instructions here to configure your mobile device to access your College of Wooster email, contacts and calendar appointments on Office 365.

WHAT IF I WANT TO FORWARD MY WOOSTER EMAIL TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT?

That’s fine. You just need to set up a rule in the Outlook Web App to forward your email to another account. Click here for instructions on forwarding your email.
