The College of Wooster use Microsoft multi-factor authentication system as a secondary form of security for your accounts. Having MFA setup on your accounts greatly reduces the risk of them becoming compromised.
Ways to Receive Authentication:
Microsoft gives us a few options of what our second factor will be: text message token, phone call token, and an authenticator app, available for iOS and Android devices. Information Technology recommends using the authentication app as a second factor. This simple setup can help bridge the gap when phone numbers change or cell service becomes unavailable. The authentication app can be active when WI-FI is available. Information Technology also encourages the setup of as many ways to authenticate as possible.
